Dutchguts, Ominous Black, Dickkicker @ The Farside »

Friday, September 3rd at the  Farside

  • Dutchguts – Sludgy, not too slow, like Eyehategod and Weedeater.  I’m gonna guess they’re really loud.  From New Jersey
  • Ominous Black – Driving, build-upy metal from Pennsylvania, for fans of Russian Circles and Mouth Of The Architect
  • Dickkicker – Tallahassee stoner metal.  Kinda.

Please bring like $3-5 for the touring bands.  Both of them sound really awesome, we haven’t had unknown metal bands like these play here in a while.  Anyone who likes heavy music should check out their links, you’re bound to like one of them.  Doors at 7:30, first band at 8.

Vicious Guns Review:

“This duo carves out sleek garage-rock buzz that leans heavily towards The Jesus & Mary Chain, including elements of Joy Division and New Order. Sassy bassist/vocalist Jennifer captures unwavering attention, while Richard is the obvious driving force on guitar, perfectly complimenting her blissed-out vocals. With a dress-code that crosses into BRMC territory, The Vicious Guns rekindles that Creation Records spirit to crisp perfection.” -Lonely Vagabond
