flyers made on computers

can they be cool? i think they’re generally shitty, and give off a less authentic vibe(whatever that means). but for some, like myself, they’re a lot easier and more convenient to make.

computer made flyers: can they be good, are they good, and if so, how? if they’re never good, why not?

nice flyer. you’re goofy! i don’t think there’s anything wrong with flyers made on computers. i guess i am partial to good ole handmade flyers, though, just because. i don’t know. could be because i’m a little afraid of photoshop and have always been a huge fan of glue and paper.

computer-made flyers are good for artistically-challenged people like myself.

jeff i love that flyer, it gets a little lol out of me every time.

i make all flyers on the computer and im not particularly proud of them…i just want to get info across without it being only boring text. im not trying to make an artistic statement.

hand made flyers look a million times cooler though.

David, that’s pretty much how I feel. Much better way of saying it.

I do feel there’s a lack of good show flyers and posters (there’s hardly any posters at all, to begin with). It’s too bad we don’t have artistic people making very many!

I make my flyers on the computer… I try to make them look pretty nice. It’s just easier for me than cut+paste. Plus it’s pretty easy to print stuff as an art student.

Hand made fliers beat computer made any day of the week. Look back at the show fliers you’ve kept because of who they look - how many of them were made on a computer?
