hello to those of you who may be visiting the site for the first time. thanks for checking it out.

for those of you who’ve been visiting a while, i’m not kidding when i say i want other people to update the front page. i think some of you may think that i am. but i’m not. it’s a little frustrating!

if you were around for the old version of this site a couple of years ago, you might have noticed that i got burned out on updating the site. after it got hacked, i just said fuck it. this time around, i’m making sure both of those things won’t happen. i made it easy for anyone to update, and i’m focusing on keeping it secure.

i’ve spent a ton of time making this site work, so by posting you make it worth it and me feel appreciated :). it’s doubly frustrating when the messageboard gets much more use when it took about 5 minutes to install and configure.

so if you have something to say, something to share, or know of a good event coming up, check out this post i made a few days ago on how to write for the site, and get to it plz. i’ll be making more how-tos (like for putting pictures in the gallery and for making podcasts and other things) soon. thanks for reading my rant.
