High Schoolers

So today, as part of an education course I’m taking at TCC, I was observing at SAIL, my former high school. It was an overall awkward situation, but it reminded me that a primary goal was to have this site known to high schoolers, particularly Sail. They’re the future!
So anyway, does anyone from at a high school read this? We need a motherfuckin high school street team so that this site, and other shows in general can get posted. I’d feel like too much of a creep coming onto campus to put up my blasphemous flyers. So I’m looking for any high schoolers that would want to do it for me, and possibly put up other show flyers.
Comment and let me know, and if no one says anything I’ll just assume that I’m a failure because high schoolers dont read this. Actually, no one reads this.

I also read. But I’m (also fortunately) not in high school. When I was in high school I did rely on a site/message board like this one for show info though. Guess myspace took over.

Jack: going back there I felt like I was right back in it. I felt like a hs student (people thought I was…), and I wished I was. It would have been killer if Sail didn’t move and I was even back in the same classroom. I don’t think I could have handled it. It made me want to go back and do it all over and not be such a fuckup.
David: i did, too. the old thunderdome site, and especially the thunderdome mailing list. that no doubt had a huge impact on who I am today. It’s also one of the inspirations I drew from for this site. george: can you flyer anywhere at leon? that would be super tight if you could and would be willing to.
are you in that band? they’re welcome to put up shows as long as it’s not at bd’s. kind of moshy, but im definitely into their imagery. maybe you want some stuff to be put on our band page about them?

I go to Leon as well, i can pass out flyers or whatever at leon your not really supposed to but shitty bands do it so we should have no problem doing it.

Yep, the new SAIL has a new free speech board.
Anyway, I’d read this site way more often if it actually covered bands I liked, I browsed back through the archives and didn’t see a single one of the shows I’ve been to mentioned

probably either
a) nobody remembered to post the shows you went to
or
b) the people who do this site don’t like the same bands you like.

I generally like Industrial, especially bands/artists along the lines of Assemblage 23 or VNV Nation.
I also like Darkwave (Ego Likeness, The Cruxshadows, etc.) and am just a little bit into noise (Gridlock, Merzbow, Muslimgauze, etc.)
As for shows I’ve been to: The Cruxshadows, The Birthday Massacre, and Chemlab
