Florida Underground Music Scene Symposium this Friday 3/21
By Jack on Mar 17, 2008 in articles, events, uncategorized
This will be a discussion about the various scenes in Florida’s underground music. Its located on campus, and will feature Matt Coplon (ex-Reversal of Man), Jake Brown (ex-238), and Micah Vandergrift (dude who teaches the Underground Music course at FSU). It sounds like a great learning experience if you want to know more about your state’s musical history. More info is on this FLYER

Micah’s an awesome dude and I’m sure this will be really cool, especially seeing underground Florida music discussed in such a formal setting. Of course, much like every DEA show that I want to go to, I’ll be out of town.

Hello! This will be a great time to get together and talk about why FL is important to underground music as well as hear some cool stories from people who have been involved in it their whole lives. Other panelists: Ben Seals (local Tally), and John Allen (formerly of Omegaman).
